Load and wait or sunbathing in jars

During the workshop with Mischa Caskova we will go for a walk, collect weeds and load them together with woolen yarn into jars. And then we wait. Probably until summer, when the wool will be dyed with this ancient technique in a few weeks under the sun. How rich the final hue is will depend on the weather. Then comes the washing, rinsing, hanging, drying, winding. All this happens during the show. Together, we will create a colour palette of Zlín, a piece of which the workshop participants will be able to take home after the exhibition.

The Comunite Fresca group together with the painter Kryštof Netolický will guide you through the fresco and mural painting workshop. Together as a group we will discuss how to approach a collaborative work. Together we will prepare sketches, a wall and paints for painting. We will try to get a feel for the emerging exhibition so that our collaborative mural interacts well with the other works in the exhibition and does not overwhelm the others.

The workshop starts at 3pm both days. We ask participants to arrive early, it will not be possible to join later. The workshop is expected to end at 18.00.
